Cosmological Entropy and Black Holes in

نویسنده

چکیده

In this talk we discuss intermediate mass black holes (IMBHs) by their amplilification of distant sources; MACHO searches have studied event times 2h∼ t0 < ∼ 2y corresponding masses in the range 10M⊙ < ∼ M < ∼ 100M⊙. We suggest that larger masses up to 10 M⊙ are also of considerable interest by arguments about the entropy of the universe. One percent by mass of dark energy can provide ninety-nine percent of total entropy. ∗Talk at GGI Dark Matter Conference, Florence, Italy. February 9-11, 2009

Action and entropy of lukewarm black holes

We calculate the Euclidean actions and the entropies of lukewarm black holes, cold black holes and ultracold solutions in the Einstein-Maxwell theory with a positive cosmological constant. We find that the entropy of lukewarm black holes is sum of entropies of black hole horizon and cosmological horizon. The entropy of cold black holes is only one quarter area of cosmological horizon, and the e...

Black hole versus cosmological horizon entropy

The generalized second law of thermodynamics states that entropy always increases when all event horizons are attributed with an entropy proportional to their area. We test the generalized second law by investigating the change in entropy when dust, radiation and black holes cross a cosmological event horizon. We generalize for flat, open and closed Friedmann–Robertson–Walker universes by using...

Identification of All Dark Matter as Black Holes

For the universe I use dimensionless entropy S/k = lnΩ for which the most convenient unit is the googol (10) and identify all dark matter as black holes whereupon the present entropy is about a thousand googols. While the energy of the universe has been established to be about 0.04 baryons, 0.24 dark matter and 0.72 dark energy, the cosmological entropy is almost entirely, about (1− 10), from b...

The phase transition of corrected black hole with f(R) gravity

In this letter, we consider static black hole in f(R) gravity. We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us...

Action and entropy of black holes in spacetimes with cosmological constant

In the Euclidean path integral approach, we calculate the actions and the entropies for the Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter solutions. When the temperatures of black hole and cosmological horizons are equal, the entropy is the sum of one-quarter areas of black hole and cosmological horizons; when the inner and outer black hole horizons coincide, the entropy is only one-quarter area of cosmological...

Black Holes as Dark Matter

While the energy of the universe has been established to be about 0.04 baryons, 0.24 dark matter and 0.72 dark energy, the cosmological entropy is almost entirely, about (1−10), from black holes and only 10 from everything else. This identification of all dark matter as black holes is natural in statistical mechanics. Cosmological history of dark matter is discussed. [email protected]
